Today I filmed Nazir and his assistant Rita try to understand how to get the paper based mural onto the building.It was hard for them, Nazir has painted many, many walls but has not done this before: collaging paper on an exterior wall. But they got the hang of it and got the first layer of the collage up. It was a low key wall, not hidden but not prominent.

The rest of the paper cuts will go up tomorrow and Sunday. Now I am thinking of how to make the film really different,interesting. And to make sure i catch Nazir’s intense character.

The weather was grim today, grey and cold. But no matter the weather, this estate looks drear and bleak. That’s Nazir’s mission, to create a kind of walk-through graphic novel of his drawings, on the buildings, thus bringing them to life.
